Ahabanmono Impact, a growing dynamic and collaborative non-profit organization, is set to make waves in Ghana and possibly across Sub Sahara by championing sustainable energy solutions. With a consortium of experts from diverse fields, the organization combines technical proficiency with a passion for driving change. Ahabanmono’s primary focus is on enabling the productive use of renewable energy in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and agriculture. Our recent visit to Kanturo, a community without electricity, marks the beginning of a transformative journey to bring reliable and clean energy to schools in Ghana.
During our visit to Kanturo and Addaeboreso communities, we had the privilege of engaging with the heads of these communities. The locals expressed deep grievances about the lack of access to electricity and the subsequent challenges they faced in their daily lives. Without electricity, the schools struggled to provide a conducive learning environment for students, hindering their educational progress. Recognizing the immense potential for positive change, we set out to address this critical issue by implementing our Sustainable Energy for Quality Education Project (SEQEP)
This flagship project aims to bring solar power to schools in communities without electricity. The organization believes that access to reliable and clean energy is crucial for empowering communities, improving livelihoods, and driving overall development. By focusing on education, we aim to provide a foundation for sustainable growth and progress.
The project kicks off with Kanturo and Addaeboreso communities as the starting point with plans to expand our reach to approximately 50 schools, targeting communities that have long been deprived of electricity. By harnessing the power of solar energy, these schools will have a consistent and renewable source of electricity, transforming the learning experience for students and teachers alike.
Recognizing that collaboration is key to creating lasting change, Ahabanmono Impact seeks to form partnerships with both governmental and non-governmental organizations that share their vision. We aim to engage with stakeholders who are dedicated to education, sustainable energy solutions, and clean energy. By joining forces, these organizations can pool resources, expertise, and knowledge to drive sustainable development and empower communities across Ghana and Sub-Saharan
Our trip to Kanturo and Addaeboreso communities highlights our unwavering commitment to improving livelihoods through sustainable energy solutions. By focusing on education and bringing solar power to schools, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change, empowering communities and driving overall development. Our efforts resonate with the needs and aspirations of the locals, providing a glimmer of hope and progress in previously underserved areas. As Ahabanmono Impact expands its reach, partnering with like-minded organizations, our impact promises to reach even greater heights, transforming the lives of countless individuals in Ghana and beyond.
